About

During the day you can find me at St Thomas’ Hospital where I am the Public Engagement and Communications manager for the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences at King’s College London.

I got a PhD from Imperial College London in physics. I was working out if very small particles of zinc oxide mixed with a special plastic that absorbed sunlight would make a good, cheap solar panel. The answer was no.

I have also helped set up the King’s Engaged Researcher Network which encourages scientists to encourage scientists into carrying out brilliant public engagement.
